The newly centered Start button in Windows 11 utilizes the cloud & Microsoft 365 to display recent files, regardless of what device or platform they were previously accessed on, such as an Android or iOS device.

The addition of Snap Layouts, Snap Groups, and Desktops to Microsoft Windows 11 will be a new set of features.

What are the Windows 11 system requirements?

  1. CPU: 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster on a suitable 64-bit processor or System on a Chip with two or more cores (SoC)
  2. 4 GB RAM
  3. Storage: You’ll need a disk drive with a total capacity 64 GB.
  4. The computer software, which is UEFI, supports Secure Boot.
  5. Graphics card: WDDM 2.0 driver suitable with DirectX 12 or later.
  6. Monitor: A high-definition (720p) display with a diagonal of at least 9 inches and 8 bits per colour channel is required.
  7. Internet connection: To complete device setup on the first usage, Windows 11 Home premium needs web access and a Microsoft account. Internet access is required to switch a gadget out of Windows 11 Home in S mode.

What are the criteria for Windows 11 features?

  1. A 5G-capable modem is required for 5G compatibility.
  2. Auto HDR: An HDR monitor is required.
  3. BitLocker to Go: A USB flash drive is needed to work ahead.

  5. Cortana: Requires a microphone and speaker and is presently available for Australia, Canada, China, Brazil, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, India,  Mexico, Spain, the United Kingdom, and the United States on Windows 11.
  6. DirectStorage: To keep and play games which use Standard NVM Express Controller software and a DirectX12 GPU with Shader Model 6.0 support, you’ll need an NVMe SSD & DirectX12 GPU with Shader Model 6.0 support.
  7. DirectX 12 Ultimate is compatible with games & graphics chips that support it.
  8. Presence: Needs a sensor to sense a human’s proximity to the gadget or their intent to engage with it.
  9. Video camera, microphone, and speaker are required for intelligent video conferencing (audio output).
  10. Multiple Voice Assistant (MVA): A microphone and speaker are required.
  11. Three-column layouts necessitate a screen with a width of 1920 effective pixels or more.
  12. Mute/Unmute from Taskbar: Video camera, microphone, and speaker are required (audio output). To enable global mute/unmute, the app must be compatible with the capability.
  13. Voice typing necessitates the use of a computer with a microphone.
  14. Wake on Voice: A Modern Emergency backup model and a microphone are required.
  15. Wi-Fi 6E: A new WLAN IHV hardware & driver, as well as a Wi-Fi 6E compliant AP/router, are required.
  16. For biometric authentication, Windows Hello requires a camera with near-infrared (IR) imaging or a fingerprint reader. Windows Hello can be used with a PIN or a portable Microsoft approved security key on devices that don’t have biometric sensors.
