Playing techniques –

If a Kalashtar were to make a trip to Khorvaire, they wouldn’t travel except if they had an incredible reason to do so. It is possible that a Kalashtar may be headed to break the attack of Adar by Riedran powers or it may be escaping the Dreaming Dark. Kalashtars usually live separated and pondering lives. Despite, being friendly and compassionate in a cerebral manner, they adopt a basic strategy.  Kalashtar keeps strong control over their feelings due to the turmoil in their conjoined spirits. Kalashtar shows brotherhood by a wry smile and a remark instead of backslapping an associate or making an insensitive joke.

The Kalashtar part from Dal Quor recalls the fleeing from that spot. They are polite and kind and attempt to stay wary while running from the Dreaming Dark. The Kalashtar struggle with the odd, immaterial memories of their quori spirits with the thoughts and sensibilities of their human parts. Kalashtars reveal their calm face by acting in unpredictable, dangerous and risky ways.

How are Kalashtar born?

All kalashtars cling to one of the 67 quoris who got away from Dal Quor during the departure. Kalashtars provide their names with a continuation of their ancestor’s name: Lanharath, whose ancestor is Harath. The Quori have radicalized spirits inherited by their kalashtar infants and they give birth to a similar gender as their parents. The Kalashtars are fit for interbreeding with humans and half-elves. If the gender of the Kalashtar parents matches the child’s and he inherits the bond and is born a Kalashtar. In some cases, it is capable of the parent’s race. They have different racial characteristics, including their particular appearance, which originate from how the quori touched their bodies and spirits. Nothing exists as a “half-Kalashtar.”

Where do the Kalashtar live?

Sarlona is the residence to the Kalashtars, who live in Adar, a restrictive and mountainous area on the southern part of the continent. Kalashtar exists in Adar in small numbers and kalashtar found in Khorvaire are much smaller.

There are many Kalashtar who like to stay in the temple of Adar. A few wandered into Eberron on the grounds because they felt like doing so. There are some Kalashtar who leave to get away from the Dreaming Dark and others wish to end the attack on Adar by the Riedrans.

In Kalashtar, hissing and hard consonants occur frequently. Different suffixes can be found for male names including harath, -khad, -melk or -tash. Female names had suffixes like -kashtai, -Tari, -vakri or -Shana.

  • List of names used to identify the males: Havrakhad, Kanatash, Lanharath, Lanamelk, Minharath, Malharath, Nevitash, Parmelk, Thakakhad, and Thinharath.
  • List of names to identify the females: Ganitari, Khashana, Lakashtari, Novakri, Panitari, Mevakri, Sorashana, Thatari, and Thakashtai.

Kalashtar in Eberron –

There are several kalashtar living inside the temple keeps of Adar and some kalashtar out into Eberron’s parts. Kalashtar, who follows the Path of Light, tends to oppose any type of evil. The kalashtar will decide to fight the Inspired; others will show a huge amount of sympathy and evil. While the Kalashtar coexists with each race, they are seen as unusual by different races due to their psionic powers since they come from a higher realm.

What happens when a Kalashtar dies?

As a human, the spirit of a creature finds itself wandering through the hidden world while its memories fade into lack of clarity. Kalashtar has the immortal quori integrated into them, so they can’t be viewed as humans in a similar sense. When the kalashtar dies, the double soul isolates into two parts, the human part and the quori part. By rearranging quori among living members from a lineage, the bonds to that lineage grow further.

Therefore, the less people from a lineage, the more powerful they become (with the exception of the first generation kalashtar who were still human with the quori inside them, so their bodies and spirits were not accustomed to the immense psionic abilities of the quori).
