Who are Hisoka and Machi?
Yoshihiro Togashi’s Hunter x Hunter features many odd characters and Hisoka is one of them. There are many facts which you should be aware about Hisoka:

How did Hisoka and Machi meet?
Hisoka and Machi appear to have a very interesting relationship.
Hisoka has a fight with Kastro and his arms get cut off. He calls up Machi to fix his arms using her nen stitches and after the work is finished, he requests Machi to go along with him for dinner. Apart from Machi, Hisoka has never shown interest in other females. Maybe she is somebody he is romantically connected to.
Hisoka likes his own interests, be it fighting challenging opponents, achieving difficult accomplishments, going on his own outings and so on. Hisoka appears to determine a lot of thrill from fighting difficult opponents which people feel he is sexual in nature, but we consider Hisoka who puts a lot of importance to love.
Hisoka is likely going to be romantically attached to Machi. When he got his arms cut, he could watch Machi fix them and he could invest time with her.
Now, the main question is whether Machi is interested in Hisoka. Machi makes an appearance to stitch his arms and she is paid for it. She discusses how Hisoka doesn’t belong with any person or thing and that he is his own man since he is totally convinced that he is the most powerful as well as remarkable.

Now, Hisoka talked about his past to Machi when he mentioned his most loved bubblegum as a child called Bungee Gum. Machi did not pay any attention to that or perhaps it didn’t strike her mind when she thought of Hisoka not talking about his past. Also, Machi likes Hisoka as his own man and not having a place with anybody. Machi chose to not think about Hisoka as his selfish nature and dedication to cater just to his own advantages could have put Machi disappointed. Machi would have concluded that it was perfect to avoid Hisoka and she is also known for her intuition.
Machi may have some feelings for Hisoka but later, she decided that it was best to stay away and avoid him.
